2016 WWE BACKLASH PARTICIPANTS’ HISTORY

As I do every month, it’s time to look at this weekend’s Backlash Pay-Per-View and see the history of all of the participants. To see the entire history of Backlash, visit the Backlash History HERE. And for any feedback or comments about this, comment below or tweet me (@hbkid718). Thanks.

Since this is the 1st Backlash PPV since 2009, only a handful of current roster members have competed in the event and since this is a SmackDown Live Exclusive Event, that cuts the roster in half. Therefore, this event will mark the Backlash PPV debut of mostly everyone. Here are the wrestlers that are currently on the WWE Roster that have participated at Backlash: The Big Show, John Cena, Mick Foley, Goldust, Triple H, Chris Jericho, Kane, Kofi Kingston, JBL, Brock Lesnar, Shane McMahon, Vince McMahon, The Rock, Jack Swagger, & The Undertaker. None of whom are schedule to compete. The current roster members that have participated at Backlash that will be competing are: The Miz, Natalya, Randy Orton, Rhyno, & Dolph Ziggler. None of the aforementioned wrestlers competed in an opening match, therefore it will be the 1st opener for all of them. Also, no Kickoff Show matches have been announced and unless Dolph Ziggler VS The Miz gets moved to the Kickoff Show, it will be everyone’s 1st Kickoff Show Match. This will also be the 1st Backlash to have only 6 matches and the least amount of matches on a Backlash PPV.
