Since they are not scheduled to compete, this will be the 1st MITB PPV that John Cena or Sheamus will not be in action, therefore no one has competed at every MITB PPV. This will be the 1st MITB PPV since 2014 to have 2 Women’s Matches on it.

Since the Main Event has not been announced, here are the facts about it. If the WWE Championship is the main event, then it will be the 6th time that it will be defended in the main event & 4th year in a row, Randy Orton’s 3rd MITB PPV main event & 1st since 2014. If a Money In the Bank Ladder Match is the main event, then it will be the 3rd time that it will be the main event & 1st since 2013, but 1st Ladder Match to main event a MITB PPV since 2015. It will be everyone’s MITB PPV main event debut. If any other match is the main event, then it will be the 1st time for them.

Since the Opening Match has not been announced, here are the facts about it. If either Money In The Bank Ladder Match opens, it will be the 6th Money In The Bank Ladder Match to open up a MITB PPV, but 1st since 2015. It will be Dolph Ziggler’s 1st opener since 2015 & 4th overall. It will be everyone else’s 1st opener. If the Tag Team Title Match opens up MITB, it will be the 2nd year in a row that the Tag Team Titles opened up a MITB PPV & 3rd time overall. It will be Big E’s 2nd year in a row in the opener, Kofi Kingston’s 3rd year in a row in the opener, & The Uso’s 2nd opener, & 1st since 2014. If anyone else opens the show, it will be their 1st time.
