2018 WWE ELIMINATION CHAMBER PPV PARTICIPANTS’ HISTORY

As I do every month, it’s time to look at this weekend’s WWE Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View and see the history of all of the participants. To see the entire history of the Elimination Chamber PPV, visit the Chamber History Page here & for the history of the actual Elimination Chamber Match, go here. And for any feedback or comments about this, comment below or tweet me (@hbkid718). Thanks.

Since no Opening Match has been announced, here are the facts about it. If a Women’s Match opens up the Elimination Chamber PPV, it will be the 2nd year in a row a Women’s Match opened up, as Becky Lynch VS Mickie James opened in 2017. If the Tag Team Title Match opens up the Elimination Chamber PPV, it will be the 1st Tag Title Match to open an Elimination Chamber PPV since the Tag Team Chamber Match in 2015. If Hardy VS Wyatt opens up, it will be the 1st Non-Title regular Singles Match to open the Elimination Chamber PPV since Kofi Kingston VS Alberto Del Rio in 2011 & 1st singles match since Big E VS Jack Swagger for the Intercontinental Title in 2014. If a Chamber Match opens up the Elimination Chamber PPV, it will be the 1st since the Tag Team Chamber Match in 2015 & 4th Chamber Match overall to open up the PPV. The only wrestlers to compete in an opening match at an Elimination Chamber PPV are Mickie James, who opened in 2017, Cesaro & Titus O’Neil, who opened in 2015, The Miz, who opened in 2012, & John Cena & Sheamus, who opened in 2010.

This will be the 1st Elimination Chamber PPV since 2015 to not have a WWE Championship Match & the 2nd year in a row that the Intercontinental Championship is not defended, as the Intercontinental Champion is competing in the Elimination Chamber Match.
