WWE WRESTLEMANIA 34 PARTICIPANTS’ HISTORY

Right now, WrestleMania 34 has 13 matches, tying it with WrestleMania 33. If 1 match gets added, it will tie with WrestleMania 5 with 14 matches. If 2 matches get added, then it will tie with WrestleMania 6, 7, & 18 with 15 matches. It 3 matches get added, then it will tie with WrestleMania 4 with 16, & will be tied for the most WrestleMania matches.

 

Since no opener has been announced, here are the facts about the opener. If the Intercontinental Championship Match opens, it will be the 1st since WrestleMania 32 & 6th time in History. If either Triple Threat Match opens WrestleMania, it will be the 1st since WrestleMania 15 & 2nd in History. If the Tag Team Championship opens WrestleMania, it will be the 1st since WrestleMania 27 & 3rd in History. If the United States Championship opens up WrestleMania, it will be the 1st since WrestleMania 20 & the 2nd in History. It will be 1st Fatal 4-Way to open WrestleMania & 1st since WrestleMania 13 & 2nd in History. If any Tag Team Match opens up WrestleMania, it will be the 1st since WrestleMania 29 & 10th in History. A Women’s Match has never opened WrestleMania. If AJ Styles or Shane McMahon open WrestleMania, it will their 2nd opener in a row. If The Miz, Kevin Owens, or Sami Zayn open WrestleMania, it will be their 1st since WrestleMania 32. If Daniel Bryan or Harper open WrestleMania, it will be their 1st since WrestleMania 31. This is the 2nd year in a row that there will be 2 WWE/Universal Championship Matches at WrestleMania. WWE, World, or Universal Championship have changed hands 30 times in WrestleMania History, with at least 1 title changing hands the last 6 years in a row, with the last time a World Championship did not change hands being at WrestleMania 29. The last time both Championships were retained was at WrestleMania 27. This will be the 1st Universal Championship Match to be the Main Event of WrestleMania, but the 28th World Championship Match in History & the 1st since WrestleMania 32. Though they competed at WrestleMania 31, this is not considered a WrestleMania Re-Match since Seth Rollins entered the match to make it a Triple Threat.
