WWE EXTREME RULES HISTORY

clip_image001

This section looks at the history of the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View. In 2009, WWE changed One Night Stand to Extreme Rules and was originally directly connected to the previous Pay-Per-View, but then in 2010, they changed their mind and said that 2009 was the 1st Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View and was not related to the previous One Night Stand events. On the WWE Network, One Night Stand and Extreme Rules are listed separately so only those events under Extreme Rules from 2009 to 2017 are included here. Anything prior to that is not included. This page will feature the Win-Loss Records of all match participants in Extreme Rules history, followed by each participant’s individual records, then all of the events by date, all of the matches by title & gimmick type, and then other trivia. Speaking of match type, all No Holds Barred, No Disqualification/ No Count Out, Extreme Rules, Extreme Makeover, Hardcore, & Street Fights are included together, since they are all the same match, with different names. The rules are the same, unlike a Falls Count Anywhere Match where pinfalls can count anywhere, the pinfall must end in the ring, but anything goes. Now, that’s out of the way, enjoy this look at the history of the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View. Leave all comments at the bottom of the page or you can tweet me (@hbkid718). Thanks.
