Also, as I have done for the 3 previous PPVs, I have also added facts & stats pertaining to this year and not just for the History of Takeover. This will be the 25th NXT Championship Match in Takeover History & 18th in a row. It will be the 4th NXT Championship Match of 2019 & 1st since Takeover: XXV on June 1, 2019. The NXT Championship has changed hands 10 times in Takeover History, with the title changing hands the last 2 Takeovers in a row. It has changed hands twice in 2019, with those being the previous 2 Takeovers. This will be the 4th 2 Out of 3 Falls Match in Takeover History & 1st since Gargano VS Cole at New York on April 6, 2019 and will be the 10th 2 Out of 3 Falls Match of 2019 & 1st since Raw on July 15, 2019. Titles have changed hands 2 out of the 3 times it was defended in 2 Out of 3 Falls Matches in Takeover History, with the last title change taking place at New York when Gargano defeated Cole to win the vacant title. This will be the 26th Women’s Championship Match in Takeover History, keeping it as the only title to be defended at every Takeover. This will be the 6th NXT Women’s Championship Match of 2019 & 1st since NXT on June 26, 2019. The NXT Women’s Championship has changed hands 7 times with the last title change taking place at Brooklyn 4 on August 18, 2018, when Kairi Sane defeated Shayna Baszler. The NXT Women’s Title has not changed hands in 2019. This will be Mia Yim’s Takeover debut. She will be the 1st wrestler since Io Shirai at New York on April 5, 2019 to make their Takeover debut in a NXT Women’s Championship Match. This will be Shayna Baszler’s 9th Takeover in a row & 9th Women’s Championship Match in a row, giving her the record for most Women’s Championship Matches in Takeover History & most consecutive Women’s Championship Matches in History. This will be the 1st time since Orlando on April 1, 2017 that there will be 2 Women’s Matches on a Takeover, but since that event included a Mixed Tag Team Match, it will be the 1st Takeover since Brooklyn II on August 20, 2016 to have 2 Women’s Singles Matches on a Takeover & one of them was not a Title Match. This will be Candice LeRae’s Takeover debut, making her & Johnny Gargano the 1st married couple to both compete on the same Takeover, as other couples have competed, but not on the same show. This will be Io Shirai’s 3rd Takeover in a row & 1st Non-Title Match at a Takeover.
