This will be the 1^st PPV of 2021 to not have an Universal Championship Match, the 1^st since Survivor Series on November 22, 2020 to not have one, & the 1^st Hell In A Cell PPV since 2017 to not have one, therefore it is the 1^st PPV of 2021 that Roman Reigns did not wrestle, which is the 1^st PPV he didn’t wrestle since SummerSlam on August 23, 2020. This is the 2^nd PPV in a row that the Raw Tag Team Championship Match was not defended & the 3^rd Hell In A Cell PPV in a row it wasn’t defended. The last time a Women’s Match has opened a Hell In A Cell PPV was in 2019, which was a Raw Women’s Championship Match.
